Profile

A licensed pilot for over 40 years with twenty six years as a professional aviator for the Broward’s Sheriff’s Office with zero accident / incident history.

Police missions included surveillance, extrications, FLIR operations and search procedures. Air rescue Pilot / Instructor including hoist operations with responsibility for managing medical crews, medical licensing of aircraft and Part 135 training. Since 2005 duties were to oversee the Part 135 certificate, the aircraft facility, all maintenance and inventory. Responsible for acquiring aircraft, including the analysis and purchase of new versus used helicopters and the reviewing of vendors. Additionally, implemented training and managed manpower and payroll.

Currently a Designated Pilot Examiner with FAA authorization for rotorcraft helicopters. Provides instruction, aerial advertising, environmental and corporate VIP flights.

As an Aviation Consultant and Expert Witness, provides consultancy services in all matters relating to the aviation industry and expert witness services to attorneys, in connection with aviation accidents and incidents.
